My quest for the ellusive six pack
Like most people I have spent some time in the gym and tried almost every type of exercise routine imaginalble in my quest to achieve the holy grail….the six pack! Whether you are a couch potato or a serious athelete the abs have been the ultimate sign of a truly fit physique. There is fact and fiction when it comes to achieving this goal and in this article we will discuss what works and what does not.
Rule number one….stop doing those crunches! If your ab routine consists of just doing crunches in between sets or perhaps you are killing yourself doing crunches post workout…you are wasting your time. The truth is that you can do crunches from now until you are 80 and you will never get that 6 pack. If your body percentage is over 20% and you are a male good luck to you. You need to lose that weight and drop that percentage if you ever hope to getting that six pack.
