Message for all pedestrians

If you are like millions of people across North America, chances are that at some time of the day you will cross the street somewhere in your downtown core. Either to grab a coffee, go to your office or meet a friend for lunch. If you do any of these things you need to read this article. Our cities have implemented an idiot proof system that notifies people when its ok to cross the street and when its not. This is just a friendly reminder to the morons out there that feel its their god given right to walk across the street anytime they see fit.

Here is a quick refresher for those dummies. When the flashing light on the cross walk sign is lit up and the word “walk” appears feel free to cross the street the sign is turned on for. Now here comes the really tricky part, if for some reason your dumb ass is still on the side walk when the light changes orange or red and says “dont walk” or has a hand appear in the same color that mean STAY WHERE YOU ARE!

Is it really that hard for people to understand? There are other people that move around in these big machines that consume fossil fuels commonly refered to as CARS that need to turn left or right and this causes traffic to slow down or halt. The ripple affect caused by you being inconsiderate is unimaginable.

The concept is very similar to when a light turns yellow while you are driving. For some reason when these people get out of their cars and on their feet the whole concept of what to do and when to walk gets lost. This is the whole reason we even have these lights. Start using your brian. The streets were made for cars.
