Mercedes 600 Guardian (Mercedes Benz S-Guard)
I found out about this vehicle by pure fluke. My fiance has been reading some weird vampire books called the twilight series written by a Stephenie Meyer. In the final book (Breaking Dawn) there is a mention of a Mercedes 600 Guardian. Let me just start by saying this car is nothing less than AMAZING. The Guardian is based off the S 600 V12. For the average enthusiast the car appears to be a regular Mercedes. There is nothing regualr about this vehicle.

There has been no specs or pricing released that I have been able to find, but by watching the clip you will notice the car is bullet proof withstands small explosions and even manages to block out poisonous gas. This is an absolute must have for all you CIA, MI5 and MI6 wannabees. Not only can you know roll in style, you also have the ability roll through a war zone while doing it.

Mercedes actually imported a bullet proof…er…resistant model of the 500 series in 2001. For about the same price, you can take almost any vehicle to a company down in texas and get the same outfit. That company also tends towards SUV’s, incase you have to drive over something on your way out.

ok, so twilight aside, I totally agree! This car is abso-frikn-lutely amazing! If I ever get to be important enough to need/wanna need something like this, I’m sooo buying it.
As far as the company in Tx, have you seen all those black suburbans. all blacked out, they have all same equiptment with one exception, they have a flip up semi-automatic berret 50 cal where the sun roof would be.
They use them alot in Iraq and Afghanistan. Not too much here but would TOTALLY love to give one a try!

Twilight has completely ruined the reputation of the Mercedes Guardian; these vehicles are not toys and cannot be so easily obtained, I wish all those damn losers out there would get a clue that the Guardian has a reason for being so defensive and its not to protect fictional characters

not too sure…i have heard the car goes for over 400k. well worth it if you are some sort of terrorist target
If anything, Breaking Dawn has only drawn attention to the Guardian, I don’t Mercedes Benz complaining about the free advertising. Breaking Dawn is a work of fiction, get over it already!!!
F u guys would sit n read the 1st 3 books of the Twilight saga u’d understand EXACTLY why Edward chose this car 4 Bella.
i dont think that anyone is saying “why edward bought this car” i think its the fact that this car is piece of machinery that does not need recognition from the book.
You guys really need to either get a life or get some therapy, no one gives a flying hoot about those crappy books with crappy ficional characters, the Guard is in no need of advertisement because those who are in REAL need of the car already know about it and they didnt find out about its abilities by watching a stuid movie or reading an obsessed-over book. yeah…c’mon guys. we’re just twilight fans. so what? what’s the fuss? i also found out this awesome car when i read the breaking dawn (from twilight saga). point is, we like the car. and the book. haha! they’re both great. so just drop the we-hate-twilight-fans subject. ok? Cant we all just get along??? LOL, silly I adore cars they are equal to men to me. I used to work for BMW & just enjoy German toys. I also like the Twilight series & if I hadn’t read it I would have never known about this elaborate toy. I sad to find out that it’s been around for a few years Im usually on-top of these things.
People please don’t hate on us Twilight readers just because we ended up falling in-love w/the car & characters. We all respect the Mercedes Brand. =)
