tuf-10-kimboNow that season nine of the TUF is in the history books, it is time for the money making machined known as Zuffa to crank out yet another 12 plus episodes of reality TV. As much as I hate reality TV I have to admit TUF has its moments. The upcoming season 10 promises to be the most entertaining and biggest season to date.

Whether you know who Kimbo Slice is or not by the end of this year his name will be on the tips of the Jo averages tounge. The black, balded, bearded ugly street fighter is making his UFC debut on TUF season 10. Kimbo (aka Kevin Ferguson) first made a splash on the fight scene back in the early 2000’s when he got famous for having back yard bare knuckle brawls for money. I still remember what he said after the fight “Nigga gotta eat”!  As stupid as this may sound to most Mr Ferguson does have some truth behind what he says. Most people have to eat and one way to ensure you are doing so is by getting paid for what you do.

Since his introduction in MMA fight fans and orginizations have been mixed in terms of how to accept him. With a record of 3-1 with his only loss to UFC reject Seth Petruzelli, Kimbo now looks to make a splash into the UFC market. For a long time Dana White has bashed Slice calling him a hyped up garbage man. You have to tip your hat to Kimbo, even after all the critisizm and taunts by Dana he manned up and took his challenge of appearing on the show.

I guess time will only tell how bright his star will shine. Win or lose on the show the real winner will be Dana White.
