Gynecomastia aka Man boobs
Well if you have been reading my blog for sometime you will know that health, fitness and pure vanity seems to be a on going theme. As of late I have been noticing more and more men walking around with man boobs. I have done some reasearch into the matter and although studies suggest that hormonal imbalance or genetics come into play I cant help but to notice the direct correlation between gynecomastia and unhealthy men. Most of the guys walking around with this issue seem to have bad diet habbits and from their apperance….it looks like the last time they were in the gym was grade 7 during a bad game of california kick ball.
Now I know some of you may say this issues doesnt just pleague unfit men, it also effects body builders and other atheletes. I do admit I have seen some people who would be considered competitive body builders opt to have the gynecomastia surgery. However the severity of their man boobs and the severity of an unfit guys are completly different.
This is just my opinion but….I feel there is a direct correlation between abdominal muscles and fatty chest. The more fat you hold on your mid section the more flabby your chest will look. Genetically speaking some men seem to have better sculpted lower pec muscles than others. But the arguement can be made…the flatter the stomach the more chisled the chest.
I wanted to suggest a few exercise that I have found to work wonders for the core as well as help to shape those abs.
1) Kettlebell/Dumbbell windmills
2) hanging leg raises
3) Wood chops
4) Ab roller wheel
If you are having issues with a flabby chest I suggest you try these exercises mixed with a intensive weight lifting routine and grouling cardio workouts. There is no way to start losing that fat unless you get you ass to the GYM!
