Its hard to believe that this is the same guy that trains with Mark Dellagrotte. Cote clearly lives in some fantasy world. Although it is upsetting that Anderson Silva did not dispose of this crap bag sooner, it is obvious to anyone who is a fight fan or judge; in order to win the title you have to take it! That simple. I dont see any possible way of how Cote thinks that he pressed the action. Given the fact that Silva is the taller fighter and has a longer reach. It is obvious that he would keep Cote at bay with his jab and circle around with lots of footwork and head movement. Preventing his opponent from planting his feet and getting comfortable with throwing shots. Patrick “The Poutine” Cote has displayed a complete lack of knowledge and respect for the fight game and deserves NO REMATCH! I hope he enjoys riding at the back of the bus….because that’s where he is heading.
Madonna recently dissed the Republican vice-president candidate Sarah Palin in her latest concert in Madison Square Garden, NY.
Now why do these people (celebrities) presume that everybody agrees with their emotionally charged political views and opinions is beyond me - but frankly a lot of people do follow and get influenced by the actions of these pop culture celebrities who themselves usually are trainwrecks in their personal life that the average Joe does not know about.
At HOOKnSHOOT’s Grand Prix in March 2006, a fighter named Jason Bryant celebrated his submission win over Scottie Newton by taking over the mic and mouthing off to the crowd. It was an innocent bit of heel-play that went terribly wrong, as one fan made like he wanted to shake Bryant’s hand, then pulled him off the entrance ramp and started beating on him.
The other fans around them responded by freaking out and throwing punches at whoever was closest. Bryant actually had to fight again later that night in the tournament’s semi-final, where he lost to Heath Pedigo. The best part is that HOOKnSHOOT is apparently using this regrettable episode to promote Bryant’s appearance at their September 27th event. Because at a two-bit local show, anything can happen! Evansville, what!
