TWILIGHT is an action-packed, modern-day love story between a teenage girl and a vampire. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school.  When her mother re-marries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn’t expect much of anything to change.  Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she’s ever met.  Edward is a vampire, but he doesn’t have fangs and his family is unique in that they choose not to drink human blood.  Intelligent and witty, Edward sees straight into Bella’s soul.  Soon, they are swept up in a passionate, thrilling and unorthodox romance.  To Edward, Bella is what he has waited 90 years for - a soul mate.  But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy.  But what will Edward & Bella do when a clan of new vampires - James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi) and Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) - come to town and threaten to disrupt their way of life?

ABOUT TWILIGHT: Based on the #1 New York Times Best-Selling series with over 17 million books in print by Stephenie Meyer, TWILIGHT is a cultural phenomenon, with a dedicated fan base that eagerly awaits this movie.  There are over 350 fan sites devoted to TWILIGHT, and it has been chosen as the New York Times  Editor’s Choice, a Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year, Amazon’s “Best Book of the Decade…So Far”, Teen People’s “Hot List” Pick, and The American Library Association’s “Top Ten Best Book for Young Adults” and “Top Ten Books for Reluctant Readers,” among others.  Critically acclaimed director Catherine Hardwicke brings to life this modern, visual, and visceral Romeo & Juliet story of the ultimate forbidden love affair - between vampire and mortal.

I came across this from the official website twilightthemovie.com. To me the story sounds like a bunch of crap. Modern day vampire falls in love with normal girl next door….blah blah blah. The only people this movie appeals to is teenage girls. I dont think it will be worth the time or money to watch in the theatre, but maybe worth finding the torrents or waiting till its on dvd.

Madonna, Guy Ritchie Divorce

OK so for the past few days or more I cant seem to avoid some news coming from the media regarding the Madonna/Ritchie divorce. Seriously…..who gives a F@#*! This is considered news?!?!? The worlds economy is on the verge of collapsing but CNN reports on this? Even if it is on the entertainment side who cares! Let these two go through whatever they need to go through and move on.

We all seem to have this weird twisted fascination with celebrities and their lives. Why? These people have no effect over what happens in the world and are only famous because the general public buys into their BS persona. I mean think about it…we the masses actually make them rich by donating our hard earned dollars to purchase a piece of their image. Thats really messed up.

Who cares about Guy Ritchie and Madonna!

Olga Kurylenko: The New Bond Girl (Pictures & Videos)

Olga Kurylenko

Hot rides, blazzin’ guns, insane stunts and technology as well as beautiful women, that’s what James Bond movies are all about - a known fact. But what else a guy could ask for in a movie?

For so long, we have seen Bonds come and go - but one thing stays the same in 007 movies and that my friends is women, beautiful women, for James to take a break with from all the ‘run and gun’ action.

Olga Kurylenko and Gemma ArtertonIn the upcoming bond movie, Quantum of Solace, Olga Kurylenko, a Ukrainian-born model and actress and Gemma Arterton are the new bond girls.

It should be noted that Olga was also the ‘eye candy’ in not-so-hit Hitman Movie.

New Bond girl Olga Kurylenko wants to strip off in the new 007 adventure. The Ukrainian model has no problem going nude and would have no hesitation in baring all opposite Daniel Craig in upcoming film ‘Quantum of Solace’.

She said: “I’ve never had a problem going topless or being naked for a film. When you’re on the beach you’re almost naked anyway. It was the same with my naked scenes in ‘The Hitman‘, which I did last year. I sent my body double back because I wanted to do the scenes myself.

Let me ask you this…

Whose your favorite new Bond girl?

Who’s Nailin’ Paylin (Sarah Palin and Hustler)

Ok a while back my good friend Mr.T posted an article about Hustler making a new movie with a Sarah Palin look alike. When it was posted I thought this had to be some sort of twisted joke. Turns out its the real deal. The video is fast tracked and should be coming out sometime before the election. There are some that think Larry Flynt is a sick old bastard. But you have to give the guy some credit….he is a true opportunist at heart.

The video will star Lisa Ann playing Sarah Palin and Nina Hartley playing Hillary Clinton. The movie is said to have some sort or crazy three way between these two characters and an unknown look alike playing Condoleezza Rice. One can only hope that they find some one ALOT better looking then the real Condoleeza, otherwise this movie is going to be a flop…hahaha.

There was an interview that Matt Damon gave basically down playing Sarah Palins experience. He mentioned something along the lines “it would be scary to see a soccer mom deal with Vladimir Putin and the Russians. ” Well I guess Larry Flynt figured out how to get foreign policy taken care of.

Who is Lisa An anyway?
Well… we’ll let her speak for herself:

My take on Max Payne The Movie

I consider myself a moderate gamer, loyal to the called ‘realistic’ or action/crime/suspense genre games such as the Grand Theft Auto series (my favorite one), The Warriors, Hitman: Blood Money and Max Payne series… in other words, I am a Rockstar Games junkie.

What I have not (so far) been a fan of is the movies of my favorite games, because they always seem to have let me down. Whether it’s the wrong choice of character for the antagonist, director’s eye candy additions to attract different (non-video gamer) audiences or other extras that are alien to the game and take away the nostalgic feeling of the game.

I understand that the movie producers demand return for their money, but as an artist I find it unethical to steal a concept or idea and turn it into something different than what it originally was. Let’s take Hitman The Movie for example… look at the photo of the Hitman, and compare it to this… wouldn’t Bruce Willis or even Billy Zane be a better candidate? What was the director thinking of going with a young and inexperienced looking actor to represent Hitman? And the storyline was shit with no actual relevance and connection to the game settings and plots.

Now back to this entry: past experiences with movies and their wrong representation of video games have left me no reason to be excited for the upcoming Max Payne The Movie releasing tonight.

While I am a big fan of Mark Wahlberg, again I am not sure if he is the right choice. Why? Well, first of all the Max Payne character in the video game is by no means a muscle guy like Mark is; he is your ‘nothing to live for’, rugged, smoking, average Joe cop. A better candidate would have been the actual character in the game - pictured right.

As for the the plot, watch the trailer and tell me what’s up with the winged creatures? What is Ludacris doing in the movie, to my knowledge, there are no references of him in the game!

Again, I hate to be pre-judgmental - but once again the movie will not represent what the video game is all about.

If you watch the movie this weekend, I’d love to hear your opinion and review.

Here are a couple of reviews of the movie that you may find helpful.

Saw V (5) Release date + Pictures & Videos

Mark your calendars people. The latest chapter in the Saw series will be released Friday October 24th. For any of you movie buffs who have seen the previous movies I am sure we all know what to expect. If by some weird twist you have not seen any of the Saw films, I highly recommend visiting your local blockbuster or video store and grabbing them before the 24th.

The series is morbid and twisted. Mixed in with a descent story line and today’s modern special effects is recipe for another Hollywood blockbuster. As much as I like this movie franchise I am left with the feeling… When is it going to end? I read somewhere online that there is going to be a saw 6? I guess the movie has grown quite the cult following.

At any rate I can not smash it until I see it. And from my previous experiences watching Saw….lets just say I have always been entertained.
